The Lighthouse Group cannot exist without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. Our volunteers are actively involved in our Club programs/events and many support functions. No matter how much or little time you have to commit, we welcome your involvement.
Volunteer at Club Nights
As a Volunteer, your number one priority is engaging with participants and creating a safe welcoming environment. Volunteers assist setting up, preparing, and tearing down the space used for Club, providing one on one assistance to participants as they engage in Club activities like games and crafts, and encouraging participants to get involved to the best of their abilities. Join us weekly or just for special occasions.
Join Us At Camp
As a volunteer for camp, you have a chance to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors with our participants. Camp commitment is 3 days. At Camp, you can volunteer to be on staff to help set up and coordinate the day-to-day activities or you can be paired up with campers to experience all of the camp activities together.
Supervise Our Special Events
Throughout the year, we hold various events that allow our participants to engage in various aspects of the communities they live in. Each year we try to expand our adventures and exposure to new things. Some of our past events include: Angel's baseball game, Bowling, participating in a Walk (and Roll)-a-Thon or Game-a-Thon, BBQs in the park, and Smore's on the beach. Our Volunteers are vital to allowing our participants to be active in our communities. Please consider joining us and help enrich their lives.
